Student Visa
Canadian study permit can’t be defined as a visa itself. However, it’s a vital document issued to international students to pursue their further education in Canadian schools. In this era of Globalisation, Canada has turned into one of the most accommodating countries to foreign nationals. Not only that, the country is known for its exceptional standard of living.
Once you complete your studies at an accredited Canadian school, you will have the opportunity of working there. Hence, it can be said that studying in Canada can open the doors to innumerable opportunities in terms of building a lucrative career.
There are two main programs for student visa candidates from India. They look like the following.

SDS is a special stream under which students can apply for a student visa with bare minimum conditions.
The List of Conditions Include-
Minimum 6 bands each in all the 4 modules of IELTS exam.

Non SDS is a normal stream which is mostly used for students who scored less in IELTS.However,to step into this program, you need to be eligible to bear the expenses of college fees and accommodation for your duration of stay in Canada.
In case you complete your studies after the expiration of your study permit.
If you don’t wrap your courses up before the date mentioned on your permit, it’s mandatory to apply for extending your stay as a student. Failing to do so may compel you to forfeit your courses and leave the country.
In case you complete your studies before the expiration of your permit.
In those scenarios, where you complete your studies early, your permit will become void after 90 days from the course completion date. The date printed on your study permit won’t be valid anymore.
In case you are availing of pre-requisite courses.
Often schools ask the applicants to take pre-requisite courses before they accept your application into the program. Your study permit will be valid for the duration of these courses + one year in such cases. In the meantime, if your school accepts your application and allows you to join the program, you will have to apply to extend your stay as a student.
